What do I need to do?
- Read the signs at the parking location. Use the council’s estate resident permit page to reach its application portal.
- Prepare the vehicle registration document and proof of residency. The published page lists a tenancy agreement; if that does not match your circumstances, ask the estates parking team which evidence it accepts.
- For a visitor, start from Estate visitor vouchers, rather than the on-street visitor scheme. Follow the current purchase and validity instructions.
- Check that the permit or voucher is valid for the vehicle, estate, and visit before relying on it. Buying or applying for a permit is not a guarantee of an available space. Estate parking conditions.

Check that you selected estate parking and entered the correct address. If it still fails, send the error and relevant details privately to estatesparking@southwark.gov.uk, or call 020 7525 3587. Ask the team to confirm the applicable scheme and accepted residency evidence. Do not use another household’s address to bypass the error. The same council page explains renewals and vehicle changes.
